What is Lamia?

Lamia is a flood-absorbing emergency bag that soaks up to 40 liters of water in minutes.
 Think of it like a fire extinguisher—but for water 

How does it work? 

 Place Lamia directly on a flooded surface or near incoming water.
 It immediately starts absorbing moisture and expands as it fills.
 No tools, no electricity, no setup 

Where can I use Lamia? 

  • Indoor floods (kitchens, bathrooms, hallways)
  • Doorways and windows during storms
  • Basements and garages
  • Warehouses, retail spaces
  • Emergency kits or civil protection stock 

How much water can Lamia absorb? 

Lamia Maxi: up to 40L

DoorGuard: ideal for blocking door gaps, up to 9L

FloodGuard: for localized leaks or overflow zones. up to 7L

Is Lamia reusable?

In small leak scenarios, Lamia may be partially reusable.
In major flood events, it should be disposed of once saturated. 

How long does Lamia take to absorb water?

Most absorption happens within 10–15 minutes.
You can reposition or replace as needed .

Is Lamia safe to use indoors? 

Yes. Lamia is safe for tile, wood, laminate, and most indoor flooring.
It’s designed to absorb water, not spread it. BE CAREFUL! The soil might be slippery after removal of the bag.

How should I dispose of it after use? 

Once saturated, Lamia should be disposed of like any waste-absorbing material—preferably in sealed trash bags.
If used with grey or contaminated water, handle with gloves and follow local disposal guidelines
